Vegan Diets for Cancer Patients

I have worked with many vegan patients during my 46 years at the cancer front-line (coalface). My experience (with 20,000+ patients) runs contrary to vegan diet cancer cure claims found on Dr Google.

I noticed many of the vegan patients presenting to me had extensive tumour loads. As well – an assessment of their bloods, scans, x-rays & medical reports, highlights some glaring commonalities – each with significant consequences.

These are…

Severe weight loss

Severe constipation

Depressed immune system

Deficiencies of iron (anaemia), calcium, B12 & other important minerals

Thyroid issues

Altered psychological responses

Interference of patient’s ability to metabolise nutritionals, botanicals, supplements, cancer medicines. (There are no formal studies on how vegans metabolise medicines)

Rather than help their cancer recovery, it is clear the vegan diet has become a hindrance.

Cornell University scientists found tantalizing evidence that a vegetarian diet has led to a mutation that—if they stray from a balanced omega-6 to omega-3 diet—may make people more susceptible to inflammation, and by association, increased risk of heart disease and colon cancer. https://academic.oup.com/mbe/article/33/7/1887/2579296?searchresult=1
