In late 1974, Grace Gawler became care giver and navigator to Ian Gawler who had lost his leg to bone cancer. Ian wrote, “experiencing love – not only a feeling of love, but the manifestation of it, the care and attention Grace gave me, was a significant contributor to my survival. Ian is still alive today in Nov 2025.“
